Nordson Corporation has made several changes in the management of its adhesive dispensing and nonwoven fiber systems business. These changes, which will be effective immediately, will better focus senior management to growth opportunities and the continuing achievement of operating efficiencies. In the first change, Michael Groos, corporate officer and vice president of adhesive dispensing and nonwoven fiber systems, now based in Erkrath, Germany, will be responsible for the global development of new markets and applications for Nordson’s packaging and product assembly (PPA) and paper and paperboard converting (PPC) businesses. In another recent change, Jeffrey Pembroke has been named vice president sales and marketing of adhesive dispensing and nonwoven fiber systems. In this role, Pembroke will be responsible for the global market development and product management of the adhesives businesses. He also will direct the nonwovens and web coating systems businesses as well as North American sales and service for PPA. Next, Nordson has named James DeVries vice president operations for adhesive dispensing and nonwoven fiber systems. In this role, DeVries will bring executive focus on segment operational excellence through the global leadership of all adhesive engineering and manufacturing operations located in North America, Europe and China. In addition to his new responsibilities, Mr. DeVries will continue to manage the Nonwoven Fiber Systems business. Mr. Groos, Mr. Pembroke and Mr. DeVries all will report to John Keane, corporate senior vice president in charge of Nordson’s adhesive dispensing and nonwoven fiber systems business.
